I'm unable to access basemaps. The moment I select basemaps the app kick's me out. The basemaps is very essential to my work. Would like if it could be fixed.

After the most recent update I'm revising my review. The UI has been vastly improved. I can now tab through fields and enter in data much faster. Also before this last update, I would say my app crashed any where from 10-20 times a day. It will still crash on occassion, but it is far less frequently than before. So a big thanks to the engineer team who fixed these issues.

Overall ok but buggy. I use the app on my android phone and have run into a few bugs. 1. Using the camera on my phone to attach a photo to an element, frequently the app will crash. 2. Loading the app, the default basemap will not display, I have to switch maps, then switch back for the default map to display (I acknowledge this could be my organization's issue). 3. Using the markup map is useful however when I to our organization site website, same map, I don't see those markup elements.

App crashes frequently causing data loss when collecting features. No autobackup as you go. Can ONLY sync via wifi or cell data, there really should be an option to sync via USB port on PC connected to hardwire ethernet. The interface and the way the app interfaces with ArcGIS online is also clunky and not intuitive. It's a very fussy and frustrating workflow. Finally, the ESRI is nonexistent even with corporate . We have to train our own people in house to provide .

The app provides a good concept upon which ESRI can build. It is, however, in the present tense extremely buggy. It is prone to crashing and, if off the grid when restarting after a crash, it can be impossible to get to ones maps. Regardless of current version number, it should be treated as an early beta and should not be relied upon in the field.

Hard to give a better rate. The idea is great but the app is far from good. Plenty of ERRORs when taking something offline. Data Sync rarely works without errors, quite slow, side-loading offline data is a PAIN!!!!! Related table data wont work when you use automatic offline areas...anyway It could be wayyyyy better and it's kind of a disappointment being an ESRI product.

Just switched from an iPhone, where the new collector app ran pretty flawlessly. I've been missing the new ios collector interface as well as feature like multiple select and edit. Field Maps brings some of those features over for Android s but God, the selecting of points and trying to edit information is so slow, I'm usually better off just using collector. I also constantly get an untrusted source error. The work around for it is ridiculous. Never has this issue on my iPhone.

I have held off writing a review for this app until now. I have pretty much had enough of the constant bugs that afflicts this app. The latest version of Field Maps is unstable and more or less immediately crashes once the app is opened into the maps screen (which may be device specific to Samsung Tab A 10.1?). I have 10 field workers encountering this issue and it's rendered the app completely useless (all using this particular model of tablet). This is as bad it's got with Field Maps. Whilst some bugs get rectified in new versions, others bugs seemingly get introduced which is really frustrating. I believe the app is not optimised for devices that are min or close to min spec. Why is the Android so bug ridden whereas the iOS version seems to be much more stable? I hope the app developers read this and ESRI allows more time/resources to drastically improve the Android version of this app. I would be happy to change my review if ESRI spent the time/energy/resources to rectify these constant bugs.
