1st time . Recorded 30 min. interview, and it acts like it won't let me —like it's stuck on "Please remove all emojis from your interview to continue," but maybe not because now it says it's published. Lol Minus 1 star because of the confusioning warning AND mostly because the *your recording has been saved to your device* (after clicking Save multiple times) is not obvious on that page. It did successfully the interview over the phone's internet connection (no wi-fi here).

if you try to use another app or lock your phone during the recording, it stops recording after a few brief minutes. since the app only has one purpose of recording audio, I don't think you should have to worry about locking your phone or navigating elsewhere, I lost many minutes of my interviews this way. definitely would suggest just using the standard audio recorder that comes with your phone

The app (version 1) will not open on my Pixel 5. It tries to open but just shuts down / immediately. I see there is a version 2 of the app but i can't find it on the Google Play store. Any suggestions anyone? EDIT: I discovered that Google has removed the ability of Pixel phones to record phone conversations. This may or may not explain why the app won't open.

It was awful!! It let me create an but it wouldn't go past the "Accept the of use & page" I tried uninstalling the app multiple times but that didnt change anything. Normally on this kind of page on other apps it will have a checkbox to accept the AND a button to click to continue to the next screen. This app doesnt have a continue button. This app needs to be temporarily taken off the playstore and fixed so that it will allow you to accept the !

I used this to record my grandparents when my grandpa is in hospice and now I can't retrieve the entire recording. The app says it's on the device 20 mins worth but it won't let me or even listen to the entire recording. These are potentially the last recorded coherent words of my grandpa and the app lost the recordings. Do not use this if it important to you I'm going to regret this for the rest of my life.

I was really looking forward to using this app. I created an , but, when I check the block agreeing to the of Use nothing happens. There's no continue button so there's no way to get past the check block! Very frustrating. I have a Galaxy 9+

I was very impressed with the entire StoryCorps App and its mission, and was able to conduct my interview flawlessly, but that's when my nightmares began. The app refused to allow me to the file to the StoryCorps archive, and no matter how many times I tried, I just kept receiving error messages. This is an extremely important project for one of my graduate courses, and my deadline is 6 days away. I need an answer two days ago!!! Tech , please come to rescue me!

App doesnt work on the S10+ or S9. Will not allow you to save the audio file / interview, and instead crashes. Reccomend recording with the voice recorder on your phone, and having a list of questions to ask.
