Excellent app with an attractive interface and useful drills - imitation, transcription, reading. Options for percussion or legato (piano or guitar) instrument so you can work on rests too. One star off because once a drill is over, it immediately disappears and your score is displayed. Therefore, you can't review your drill to see what you missed in order to focus on that element. Without the ability to review what you've done, it's not really a learning tool. Still useful for what it is.

This app is EVERYTHING you will need to learn how to read rhythm, and my favorite thing about it is how much there is to help you learn ADVANCED rhythms! Now, it's not perfect, but I have yet to encounter a perfect app in my life. It still gets 5 stars to me because it has so many useful features I would have never thought of adding. And for a one-time purchase?? It blows other apps that charge monthly out of the water! (Btw I promise I wasn't paid to say this lol)

A great app which has developed one fault - when I miss the first beat of the rhythm repetitions the dot stays there, immobile, for several more es, even though I'm more accurate the later times. The only fix seems to be to hit only the 1st beat, to relocate the dot, & then carry on with the next .

I honestly only ed this app out of curiosity bc i used complete music reading and liked it. I didnt know what was wrong with my playing but didnt know its bc i suck at rhythm. I confess some of the practices are kinda hard for me and i have to do them several time to finally perfect them, but at the end this app is helping me a lot. Finding such quality educational app with no ad or no time limit or anything such is just unbelievable.

it would be nice to customize arcade mode and have it start from a more advanced point, also maybe have a no fail option to allow you to just keep going through and practicing as sometimes I find my phone just doesn't the tap, forcing me back to start with the easy stuff again. Also tempo control would be great. Aside from that, I'm super happy I bought the full version I use it everyday, and definitely recommend it.

I have used a few different rhythm apps to help with my sight reading. Rhythm is surprisingly overlooked as important when sight reading, but it's arguably more important than the notes. Some will notice if you play a "wrong" note, but everyone will notice if you're not playing in time. Complete Rhythm Trainer is the pinnacle. In addition to the randomized baked-in reading exercises, you can (paid version) make your own custom exercises to really drill into your weak spots.

Ever since I got in touch with this app, I've enjoyed it everyday. It's both interesting as a game and impactful musically. It challenges me to push further in my understanding of rhythm. Kindly allow more exercises on free version.

I see a lot of potential in this app and hope that it will really help to build my skills. However I get confused as there is no marker to show where I am in the rhythm- if I miss the count in I get completely lost
