Ill be one of the few that likes the app. Coming from Unifi Protect app, it is lacking a lot of features. But there are improvements since ive started using Axis the last year. The recent update includes a screenshot of the notification...THANK-YOU!! I really missed that from Protect. I only have a A8105 and a small dome camera currently since a Q6155 i have is off to be painted. So I can't really say much to the PTZ functions of the app. Sound works for me. Check your stream profile if not.

Poor performance for an App that's part of a global leader in CCTV... can no longer differentiate between motion and regular recording. Entire time-line shows "red", as if it's all motion. Camera station works fine..showing blue, and red when there's motion. Android and iPhone app both have this issue. Completely unacceptable for a company with millions of dollars in resources. In addition, constantly disconnects with "an unknown error has occurred" on live. Get it together, or become obsolete.

TLDR-Axis web does not sync well with mobile app & mobile app option opens a blank email with no recipient -My Axis name does not show remote site cameras allocated to me, even though they are viewable on desktop webview with same Axis credentials. -The option in the app opens a blank email with no recipient Not very intuitive Considering Axis invented network cameras it is sad to see their app & ecosystem fall behind opposition in of "smarts"

App keeps crashing - Always. While viewing PTZ cameras, the mobile app repeatedly glitches and says: "Sorry! An unknown error occurred." This makes the app impossible to use with PTZ cameras If used for PTZ to look around for more than 20 seconds maximum the guaranteed to crash.

How come Axis Companion has more functions like hear audio, talk with mic and turn ON camera light where as this app has very limited functions and only 1 GB data limit although we use our own data. Axis Companion has unlimited data. Please be realistic. Your high price should cover data limit cost. Update: After 6 years, still no changes in this expensive software. They don't care and don't listen to their customers.

Application is very buggy and closes often. I'm very disappointed. It appears the issue is around multiple servers on premis with configured views that draw cameras from multiple servers. This works perfectly on my desktop, but via the app, not all cameras are visible in the view, and it crashes when viewed.

I love the fact that I can view all my cameras when ever and where ever, but if I look at the live footage for more then a few seconds it says "an unknown error has occurred", and then i have to restart the app. Very annoying bug.

Alarm company notified me of a possible breach at my facility yesterday. Couldn't log on to the remote camera station to see if it was a break in. All 40 cameras showed the 5 second countdown timer with "unable to connect". Turns out we WERE broken into and lost 225k in product. If I was able to and see what was going on the police would have been notified sooner and would have arrived in time. Remote access has been garbage ever since you took your servers down last month.
