Update: you absolutely did add some information wow! Lots of it! I'm blown away! I love it. I am not a geologist but I love rocks and learning about them is sometimes hard because they are hard to identify from a flat book, but this takes it to a whole new level! You even have an option to look 3-D! Descriptions, information, locations! Love it

I've tried several different apps to help id the thousands of rocks my brother had. With very little success. This app is amazing. I've learned more from this app then those ones that scan ur rock and tell u what it is. Most of the time there way off. I've only tried the free version on this app. I think it will be worth paying for the pro!!! Best app so far!! Thank you .

This is not very accurate. It's nice that they give you several options because I understand that some rocks can be deceiving. But I tried it with very recognizable rocks and it wasn't even listed as an option. For you to pay for a subscription it just seems like the identifying ai would be a little more advanced.

Perfect App for Rockhounds of any age! It would have been so cool to have this as a kid. Still, here I'm going through my old rock collection trying to ID everything 30 years later. Very friendly, could be used by kids for fun or adults with more gemological experience. Awesome 3D rotations, informative descriptions, and a huge search database. Stones may look very similar; but the detail, info and models here makes identification much easier! Love this app, thank you to the creators

The app builder stated that the app works good with a decent internet connection, and that may be true. But we explore all areas looking for minerals, and we have never had an internet connection in any of the very remote areas we hunt. If we are lucky, maybe internet thru phone data. The app is useless for any rockhounders actually going out to hunt.

Way to many ads!!! You do one search and when you try to go back... BOOM AD!!! Tried looking up some stones three times... I wouldn't if I was you... but if you don't mind a long drawn out process of watching videos this is the app for you...

Stellar 3D view of each mineral and rock. Great job on this app! Only suggestions would be provide a couple of photos of each item and maybe an advanced search option including by color or region.
