MuPDF viewer is an app for reading PDF, XPS, CBZ, and unprotected EPUB documents.

This is a slim version of the MuPDF app, which focuses on reading only. It does not editing annotations or filling out forms.

Tapping on the left and right side of the screen will flip to the previous and next pages. Tapping in the middle of the screen will bring up or hide the tool bars.

The link button in the tool bar will toggle highlighting hyperlinks. When the links are highlighted they are also active and tappable. You can pinch to zoom in and out. When zoomed in, tapping will scroll to advance to the next screenful of content.

The toolbar also has a search button, and possibly a table of contents button.

The scrubber at the bottom of the screen will let you quickly go to any place in the document.

With the "Overview" system button, you can go back to the file chooser and open multiple documents at once.

It would be nice to have colour/font options for epubs, but that's fine. The only bug I keep hitting my head on is on second opening of an epub, it returns me to a place 20 or 30 pages ahead, every time.

-it needs a double tap feature to zoom in and to fit the text to the width of the screen. -Vertical scrolling would be nice, with smooth rubberband like scrolling. -selecting text for copy and paste would be nice

it has some issues viewing protected PDFs. It never works on first try, especially when opening a PDF from a gmail attachment

Excellent lightweight viewer that doesn't suffer from permission creep and doesn't collect or share personal data. If only I could highlight and copy text (phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, numbers, etc.) it would be perfect. To me, that's essential even in a lightweight viewer.

It doesn't work in Android 10 Just says "PERMISSION DENIED" Please fix. EDIT: Latest update fixed this issue. Thanks for the response and sorting that out. It works great now. For viewing a large multi-page pdf, MuPDF is the fastest one yet. For zooming and scrolling around, it has the quickest refreshing/loading. Its even faster than Xodo for this.

It opens large PDFs superfast; I am impressed. Two suggestions: 1. Please allow the s to copy text from the PDF. 2. The headings in the Table of Contents should be collapsed by default. Otherwise, it becomes very difficult to find the correct entry when there are 1000s of entries there.

Almost perfect. The only PDF app that just shows you a PDF and nothing else, with an intuitive and minimal UI. Would be perfect if it pre-rendered outside the viewport- seeing a blurry version of what I'm trying to read every time I scroll/pan is pretty irritating.

I will tell everyone about this app. It is unbelievable that this is totally free and gets directly to any PDF in my phone and displays it without any issues.
