UI update was long overdue and is greatly appreciated. would be nice to have the thermostats default to the bottom of the phone instead of the top though (or at least have the option to switch) as most consumer s likely only have 1 or 2...so having them at the bottom makes them more accessible. Adding for a widget would also be really cool.

Worst app ever. Almost impossible to use. Crashes frequently. Arbitrarily changes entered values. Logs you off. Makes you again. Impossible to use cached credentials because iris sensors displayed at a 90 degree angle to your head. Can't rotate phone. Altogether, the most buggy, worthless app I have ever experienced. Worth buying a different HVAC system just to be able to control your comfort.

Less than useless: A time waster. Requires a 4-digit code that "can be found during installation." That would be great for the former owner of the house. Does me no good at all. Where else is the code? Impossible to say, since the font on the message is huge and not scalable and further information is cut off and not scrollable. Hence, go away. Okay, will do.

I have used this app for about 5 years. It constantly losed my and . I give up. I'll just walk down the hall. I have used the same name and for the entire time, but it just forgets periodically. Also won't change from lanscape to portrait, so you can't read the instructions to reser, easily. Not worth the trouble.

Absolute trash! Let's start with how the app only works in landscape Mone on your phone so it takes two hands to work the app. Super annoying. Secondly it asks for a 4 digit code and my thermostat only gives out a 6 digit code! This means I can't even use the app to my device. No worries I found a backdoor way to do it that requires me to be a computer programmer! Luckily my asian fiance is really good at this! However you also have to be an HVAC specialist to know how to program everyt

Forced landscape mode and huge fonts render the UI unusable. A few weeks after initial setup the thermostat apparently decided to revert to the previous owner's registration?! I have not been able to re- or otherwise connect to app/t-stat ever since. Seeing the poor reviews and app last updated almost 4 years ago set the bar pretty low but Carrier still managed to disappoint. Truly awful.

This app fails constantly. Authentication is a piece of s. Acct got kicked out so many times. When you change because you forget or they keep showing your correct incorrect. Then they dont let you and show the same incorrect message. No response from . New thing: you set your house at 26C cold. This machine automatically runs and when you realize it, it is still running at 22C. I have to pull the module out to stop it.

Since I cannot get any email response from carrier, I am forced to report a bug here. If system is set to off, and the fan is switched from auto to on or from on to auto, the app hangs with the spiral wait cursor. Nexus 7 2013 version. Other than that, things work pretty well. Screen orientation is fixed in landscape. Expectation: smart home control would have access via Google Home and Alexa. I expected Carrier to be on board with this by now. Why no Google home yet?
