Terrible. has suddenly stopped working. tried uninstalling and reinstalling. have logged back in but now can't add in my ID details and improve my 'identity strenth'. won't connect and errors when trying to submit them. This means I now can't to a critical work related website. and there is not alternative method offered to work around this issue.

I was able to set up and use the app quite easily. I didn't have any access to my healthcare card for the previous years & had a green paper one instead which wasn't accepted like the blue one. Christmas Eve I went to Centrelink to make sure I could see the doctors in new year & after 40 minutes it appeared on my myGov and this app

Endless circles. Follow instructions - states I've set it up before. Reset, uninstall, reinstall. Rinse, repeat. Seek to confirm identity with port... System error. Sorry folks I do not have endless hours available to go through this and your help line.

2025 update. Still pathetic. Same issues. ,It keeps saying previously setup exists and resets this one! I couldn't sign in and kept being sent in a loop to try to fix the issue. Don't set up an app unless it works properly. I followed instructions and amazingly it still does not work. It can't even my driver's licence. please fix it or at least start from scratch! Thought I would try again 3rd time after 2 years and still problems. Waste of government money. Uninstalled again.

Nothing about this app is intuitive. Nothing works smoothly. Starting from step one - it won't let you use a suggested strong or (once you've made a convoluted and repeated it) let you select it from your saved s. So what, should I write it down and refer to it every time? It also says that my port doesn't match? What? Award for the most frustrating app of all time.

It's a good identity app for government related things, but it's stupid in that it's not a 1 step-up , and you can't use it on all of your devices easily. Everytime you sign into a new device, you need to re input the information. So it's a whole new setup for every device. It needs to be changed so that you can set up your once, and you can sign in on any device, even new ones without putting the information repetitively.

First it was easy to sign up and make a stronger ID, but after linking to my gov I couldn't go to my tax, I ended up ringing my gov, they ed me on to tax they ed me on to MyID which talked me through it. working all good now. but still quite frustrating experience.
