This has been my favorite messaging app since 2019, when I started to search for substitution for WhatsApp. Easy to use, secure, and trusted. I'm glad they launched two features, which I missed: schedule message and editing after you have sent your text. They only thing I miss is linking the app to another device. But I guess this is a kind of policy issue in Android

I really like this app and have many good things to say, but since I'm limited to 500 characters, I'll stick to what they should fix. The new version has an animation of a lock unlocking and turning that takes a few seconds before you can actually see your messages. We text because it's quick and convenient and that animation makes texting slower and inconvenient. I'd like to see them get rid of that.

I really believe in this app! It's really refreshing knowing that I don't have to communicate in a panopticon. And the UI is simple and clean. However, the video calling feature is glitchy and has crashed and frozen a few times since the 10 minutes I've had it. Definitely some work to be done, but very happy so far.

Signal is an outstanding messaging app that prioritizes privacy and security without sacrificing usability. Its end-to-end encryption ensures that your conversations remain confidential, giving you peace of mind in a world where data privacy is crucial. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to navigate for s of all ages. Features like voice and video calls, group chats, and media sharing work seamlessly, and the app runs smoothly without unnecessary bloat... highly recommended

This is the perfect communication app! Video calls, texts, regular calls, even disappearing messages if you so desire. Fast and feature loaded, Ive never had an issue. The app is open source and with end to end encryption I never have to worry if my data is being harvested or shared without my explicit consent. Keep up the good work! Thank you

Overall, I've been extremely happy with this app for the past few years. But for the past week or so, the notifications stopped working. I'll open the all, and see I was messaged a few hours ago, even 20+ hours ago, and never got a notification. My battery saver is turned off, I've cleared the cache, restarted my phone, and turned notifications on and off both in the app and in android settings. Nothing fixed it. This is my primary messaging app, so I'm hoping an update will fix this soon

Its always been a 5 stars, don't write reviews unless there is a problem, the latest Android update messed something up, on reddit many talked about the same problem, no notifications, until you open the app. And for me, i get the notification sound after i open up the chat. The message could've been from 30 minutes ago. Hope this can get adressed soon.

Well made and very secure. However, it is not perfect, since you still have to use some very personal info to even use it which ironically can make it less safe than using the services of Discord of all things since you immediately give away your phone info by simply talking to someone. But otherwise, well made and even feels private.
