I hate to leave bad reviews, especially for a game with so much potential. But you literally cannot do ANYTHING without spending money. Choices cost money, pictures cost money, outfits cost money, sometimes even matches cost money. And even when you spend money, it's $5 for 2 choices, 3 if you're lucky. Either lower the amount of hearts required or give more for the price of it because this is absolutely ridiculous.

**EDIT to 1 star** My response to the developer: Free to play is NOT equivalent to reasonable and affordable gameplay. I have spent money in the game & still having a hard time having enough diamonds to make choices. These choices range between 200 to 400 diamonds. While you earn 15 to 50 on completed tasks that take time and can be a bore to wait for. Im all for buying a few packs, it is not worth the investment when the most popular pack can only get you through 1 to 2 conversations.

I enjoy Winked, an AI game that seems so real, but also too good to be true. The only thing I don't like is having to pay for a lot of interaction or clothes to wear on a date. They should have higher paying "Long In" points and more gems for your bucks. It's getting too expensive to only get for ex. 1500 for $10. I love my perfect suitors, but damn a fantasy should be a little affordable. We are in recession times. Give us a little more bang for or bucks! 😅 Damn give us occasional discount

Unless you want to pay to read a few minutes at a time for enough hearts to continue, you'll find yourself finished before you start just as I did. There's options to play games or do surveys for the credits they require to progress and open messages(sometimes you have to reject the matches you've been talking to unless you have enough credit to pick the other option during conversation. It's pretty cheesy and very predetermined so there's not much choice unless you buy them. Lost my interest.

Having ads every 5 seconds became too much. I was enjoying the game but I just couldn't handle anymore ads. Not to mention you can't do a whole alot without spending money for hearts and I'm not gonna do that because really you don't even get enough hearts to do much with the money you spend. It really defeats the purpose of continuing this game. Ah well.

It's fun but so, so expensive. I also don't like how when you complete the profile the match stays offline. Though in the last couple days even matches that aren't 100% complete go offline for good. Even in the middle of a conversation! The first time it happened my match asked me to come over then went offline and hasn't come back since. Would also be nice to be able to reuse hair and clothing choices and replay a profile once you finish it. It's a bummer.

This app is extremely expensive, even the daily rewards will not pay for an outfit or extended chat. Developer is making so much monet on everything. Why do we need to buy outfits? It would be nice to reuse the outfits in our look book! Probably will not play after my coins run out... If you don't have the $$$$ don't play.

Ok. After 3 weeks of trying to play for free, I uninstalled the app. Not only can you not earn enough to do any of the decisions that require the currency in a timely manner, but the characters actively punish you for trying to play free and abandon you for not being active enough with them. Would definitely recommend MeChat over Winked if you're trying to play for free.
