The Discover tab shows how long a trail is, but not how far away. When I found myself at a closed trail with a wife growing ever more impatient, I had to keep hitting the navigate button to open Google Maps which would then tell me how far away something was, then switch back to onX and re-center on my current GPS location, then try the discover tab again while trying to which trails I already checked. I feel like "how far away" is a VERY basic missing map feature.

I ride adventure motorcycles. I got this app to find and ride off pavement. Route building is great. I had two problems; no audible turn warning, and the screen kept turning off even though the phone was set to stay on. On a motorcycle, it's harder to keep touching the screen (especially on trail) and watch the screen to see the turn. There needs to be a voice prompt, even if you need to use a specialized drop point on the map to define the turns or forks.

Android Auto integration is, unfortunately, nearly non-existent. All the app does is pull up a satellite map on the screen without access to any options like trail search, displaying saved routes, etc. Also of interest is the navigate to trail feature: if laying out a route from the trail to home, for example, navigation in Google Maps navigates to home instead of to the trail. Looks like the coordinates get scrambled.

Very disappointed. The way the maps work is almost exactly the worst design I could think of. Trail names aren't visible until zoomed in to an extreme where you can't see far enough to plan your route. Municipality names not visible at all at any zoom level. Cumbersome to drop pins and create a route. The feature to track where you have been works nice, but that's useful for where you've been... not where you want to go.

Love this app! It has many more trails available than other apps I have tried. The feature I like best is that it keeps track of your cumulative travels. At a glace I can tell if I have been on a particular trail or road before or not. This will come in handy keeping track of where I have been and where I have left to go. A personal goal is to travel down every possible road in Land Between the Lakes, this app makes it easy to plan my next foray into the wild.

Awesome app for offroading, planning, and accurate up to date maps with way more detail than "Maps" in other apps. The carplay / andriod auto compatibility is fantastic, but above all, their customer service is one of the best things about them. Quick responses and a "we got it handled" attitude make for great experiences 👍 Offline app availability if you're going into spotty service and honestly as much detail as you want about an area before you venture. Give them a try it's free 😉

Can't save custom map with free version. App too expensive! Don't recommend unless you can afford another subscription... 👎🏼 I get it costs money to develope and maintain apps like this but give me adds and I'll gladly use it. I can't afford another subscription just to be able to create my own trail on my own property. I feel this feature was left off to sinply pull in more buyers. Many people I talk to feel this way.

The app works well, but the trails in northern Michigan are not current and they lead you to private properties, and areas where you are not supposed to be, while the open trails are not shown on the app. I would love to keep using this app, but Ride Command is much more current with more features and it's free. I am glad I didn't pay 100 dollars for this. I got it on sale over a holiday weekend.
