I think I've settled on this as my main app for learning go. It's reasonably complete and works well. The easiest level against the computer feels pretty tough, like a 1500 ELO game of chess against a strong engine, which would be hard for beginners. It would be nice to have easier levels to make it comprable to other games, or for relaxing after dinner etc. There are some fairly easy tsumego exercises to warm up with. I like to have a real board and stones out to study as I play.

Great app. In my opinion it's absolutely worth the money. But there are a couple of things that can make it a little more usable, as it seems to me: - there are no statistics and game history. I think it would be convenient for assessing your progress. - there is a night theme for the board, but not for the UI

I love this app. I'm surprised by it's features as I discover them. It has a nice database of past professional games (about 20,000 games), and it also allows you to this joseki dictionary with commentary and everything. It uses GNUGo, which is no slouch to play against, GNUGo can be RUTHLESS, perfect opponent to train against. If you choose this app l, you won't be sorry. I have several Go/Baduk apps, and this is one of my favorites. You can also connect to Pandaney/IGS.

I haven't used all of elygo's features yet, but I do know that it actually does a pretty good job of playing go. If you enjoy this game, pick it up, play around with it, figure out what it does for you.

Fantastic go/weiqi app, has immense library of historic go games for review as well as tsumego and timed challenge mode. So much great stuff for go study on the phone

My favorite Go app. Especially how the board can be designed (colors, color of stones, night mode) an how to select where to play.

This app is great but how can I import problems (include both free & paid ones) from the "Tsumego Pro" app of your studio to play in challenge mode

I like the game records and the tsumego - the IGS interface isn't as good as the pandanet app. Still worth a fiver tho'
