in principle, good mail functionality - unfortunately quite buggy, e.g., email replies and email drafts have weird bugs such as keyboard sometimes disappears if you switch briefly into another app or draft occasionally gets jumbled. Bugs tend to come and go only many months later - e.g., for almost a year the favourite email function didn't work but then came back... The app fortunately also stopped pulling the wrong email into the body when hitting reply. Overall usable but frustrating.

It was nice in the beginning but, the filter search functions doesn't seem to work well i wanted to delete all Facebook notifications and it doesn't work so manually deleting spam is so time consuming..... The constant ads and clutter block now half of the screen view for email.

Works well, but sometimes mails are lost or delayed by several months. The adds are also interfering with usability, when trying to open a mail. Security is generally good.

Had to install app and add an email. Phone number is wrong so I had to another app and identify myself. Tried it out 2 times with waiting times of 30min and it didn't work. Will have to switch my email address probably.

It's like an apple product: Crippled with an inefficient layout and no control over anything. Babby's first email client. I do not want JS or media to be interpreted by my mail client, and I also need a more compact layout. The new client is completely terrible compared to the old one. I've been paying web.de for over a decade, but if this is the direction, it might be time to look elsewhere. I'll certainly look for another mail client for Android.

No synchronisation since 30 April, 2021. When I open the app, it displays that I'm logged in but no new mails are indicated even tho a notification came that I have a "new email". I have to take a roundabout method through "settings/about" and again. The app worked perfectly before. No settings have been changed as far a I can find and storage is far from full. App version is the most current 7.1.7

I don't know if it's the android version (and app version), I used that app on my moms phone and it was plain terrible. There is adds popping up everywhere i wanna click on.. when sending an email to an address already know by the app i could not easily modify the email address, it just removed it from the address line and when forwarding i could not modify the forwarded text.. Also it adds some sent 'by app' line.. I did not invest much time, but every other app is way nicer and easier..
