They finally fixed the performance issues. The app is still not very smooth but at least it's bearable to use. Now it's actually an amazing tool and companion to the main web app. Motion has made steady progress and improvements and has come a long way since they first started years ago.

I was very reluctant to change my task and calendar management tools. I am so glad a friend convinced me to try Motion. Indispensable! Functionally it's exactly what I've wanted. I'm not exaggerating when I say the prioritized auto scheduling feature is life changing for me. The mobile app doesn't do everything the desktop app can do, but it does what I need.

Amazing app and I am a happy paying customer. The macos app is excellent. The android app unfortunately stutters a lot, crashes, and has missing events. I would suggest having the developer use threads more in the android app. Also be sure to be reporting any errors connecting with a toast notification, because missing events should show an error. When it's not crashing, when I try to complete tasks it sometimes says Failed to complete task.

Nice app, low learning curve. Helps me be realistic about what I can fit into a given timeframe. You really have to buy in and follow closely, giving up control of your day, to max your experience few complaints: 1. Cant make tasks dependent on each other if they are in different projects. 2. When I miss a deadline, it schedules that task way in the future instead, as opposed to just one day late. 3. If you don't hit Enter or Create after typing out a task, it doesnt save at all.

It's a great tool... if you can almost exclusively manage your schedule and to-dos when at at a computer. Mobile app leaves a lot to be desired, even when compared to other basic schedule planning apps, but I guess they warn you about that by saying it's not supposed to be a standalone app. I expected more.

I'm a WFH contractor and scheduling my day has always been difficult. I've used planners, various apps (ToDoist, Asana)...but Motion has been a total game changer. It's perfect for my scattered thoughts and always keeps me on track without stressing me out. Definitely recommend for anyone who struggles to find the time for tasks, and especially for neurodivergent folks who get easily overwhelmed like me!

The desktop version is functional but the mobile app is limited, and I'm on my mobile device 90% of the time. -- In mobile, you can only see daily view - there is no weekly or monthly view (like google calendar). This makes Motion virtually useless for viewing & planning my week. The annual subscription is *very expensive and I haven't touched the app in over 6 months. I hoped the developers might add a new feature, but it has been already been a year with no improvements. I will not renew.

Time blocking on steroids! I no longer need to update my "not done" tasks at the end of the day. Motion automatically reschedules everything for me intelligently at times where I actually have enough time to either complete the task, or of the task can be broken up into pieces, it will schedule time to work on that task. It's not free, but it's well worth the productivity gained and the time it saves me!
