This app gets worse as time goes on. Since recent upgrade it will jump out of what I'm reading back to the headlines. I thought it was me at 1st but it's not, happens quite frequently. And why do they feel the need to post the same story multiple times on the home screen? Is it so important that they fill the page? And for cripes sake, if you say you're going to provide updates as the story develops, then do it.

Both Fox59 and CBS4 are owned by Nexstar. The apps are identical. Same problem with the stories. Two paragraphs and the rest is just white screen. It's probably the ads, and there are way too many, causing the issues. And probably on purpose. Hacking. Who knows. If you can't read the news why have the app. Bye bye.

It has been informative and I rely on it for weather related closings. In the last week I get an error message when I try to open the school and business closing (also to Fox 59). Help! It is an important part of the app and will have to change to a different station's app if the is not fixed pronto.

I've used this app for a while. While it is very informative, the spelling errors on every article drive me nuts. It seems as if they're in a hurry to get the news out so they aren't reading the information after typing it. 2/3/19 continues to shut down after multiple times before I can finish reading the articles.

Dropped my rating to 2 stars because of the amount of times the app has closed recently. 90% of the time the app closes unexpectedly before I'm finished reading articles. 70% of that time it closes before I even get started. I uninstalled and reinstalled twice. please fix this problem

Love the news reporting if you can get to it. The app is very buggy and usually can't get past the first ad that you swipe up as the app will lock up. Come on fox59, you can do better than that.

App is buggy as hell. Video player still leaves the UI visible in full screen. Won't cast to Android TV/Chromecast or Roku. Not even compatible with Android TV. (Even sideloaded the APK and it crashes.) There's apps on this app store and F-Droid/Aptoide that would work better than this. Hire better programmers. And, iOS UI elements are UNWANTED in Android! Android isn't released by Apple, Nexstar! (Even though there's some FOSS code by Apple in Android but I digress.)

I thought that it wasy phone but after reading other reviews I realize that others have the same problem. An article just stops. Followed with white screen. I've tried waiting to see if something is loading but nothing ever happens. If I can read the news on this app then why have it?
