You are the captain of a starship, free to venture anywhere in the universe. The ship and crew are yours to command, upgrade, and customize. Stay loyal to your starting faction, abandon them for others, or play all sides to your own ends. Galactic events & faction quests across eight different eras await your discovery, but every playthrough is first and foremost your story. What kind of captain will you be?

You’ll find a wealth of options in this epic, in-depth space RPG from Trese Brothers Games…

• Play as any kind of captain: Spy, smuggler, explorer, pirate, merchant, bounty hunter… more than 20 jobs with their own bonuses & roleplaying possibilities!
• Customize your own spaceship: Choose from 350+ upgrades and 45 ship hulls to build a vessel perfectly suited to your adventures across the vast reaches of space.
• Recruit and tailor a loyal crew: Assign talents and equip specialized gear for every spaceship crew member.
• Weave a new narrative on every playthrough: Decide to make friends or foes with other factions and influence political, economic, and personal vendettas.
• Your choices change your crew: As you make decisions and set the tone for your ship, your crew will grow and change to match. Destroy enemy ships with all hands on deck and your crew will become more bloodthirsty and savage. Explore distant worlds and loot dangerous wastelands and your crew will become intrepid and clever… or scarred and half-mad.
• Explore a rich, open universe: procedurally-generated characters and even galaxies allow for endless possibilities. Change map options to create a universe gigantic or small as fits your playstyle.
• Choose your own difficulty: From Basic to Brutal, or fully customizable individual options. Play with save slots to try out different builds or storylines or turn on character permadeath and enjoy a classic roguelike experience.
• Achievement unlocks: accomplish story and challenge goals to unlock additional optional (not better) content like new starting ships and new starting s.

If you’re a sci-fi fan, you’ll recognize many of our influences, but the lore of Star Traders is a universe of its own…

First there was the Exodus – when survivors of a great war left the ruins of the Galactic Core behind in search of a new home in the stars. Scattered worlds were claimed on the fringe of the galaxy. Each pocket of survivors held on to an isolated set of worlds while trying to rebuild under the great law of Shalun. Three centuries later, technology has brought them back together again. Discovery of the hyperwarp has bridged what was once an unimaginable distance between far-flung colonies, long-lost families, and political factions.

With that reunification has come great economic prosperity. The hyperwarp reestablished the transportation of cargo, goods, and technologies between the quadrants – but it has also brought great strife. Political rivalries have been rekindled, blood has been shed in age-old feuds, and the fires of war have been stoked. Amidst the political infighting, a ruthless revolution is rising – and the fervent explorers of the hyperwarp have awoken something that was better left asleep.

Star Traders: Frontiers is the latest and most expansive Star Traders game to date. Our very first game, “Star Traders RPG”, took hundreds of thousands of gamers on an interstellar adventure. Its success and overwhelmingly-positive reception helped to launch Trese Brothers Games. It was the adventures of our community’s star-crossed captains that put us on a trajectory to share more of our worlds, ideas, and dreams.

We set out to capture the loneliness, bravery, and camaraderie of people living together in a spaceship sailing across the stars. It is with great pride that after releasing four other games in the Star Traders universe, we’ve created a sequel to the original Star Traders RPG.

Step onto the bridge of your starship, take to the stars, and create your own story in Star Traders: Frontiers.

This is a real game on your mobile! And there's no time gating, so once you pay for it, you can play when the mood strikes. Also no penalty for not playing every day. And easy to pause if needed, so perfect for playing when waiting your turn. As a game I enjoy this: you're not forced to do what the developer wants, but there are many different paths you can take and you can play the way you like to play. I'm totally hooked!

I love this game, it's truly a gem but my game starting crashing. I can't play it anymore I was doing a mission and my game crashed. Every time i to my save it crashes and closes. I'm only lowering the rate to call your attention hahaha for i think the game is amazing. I tried to clear the cache but it didn't work so it's either get the bug patched or start a new game, lose all my progress and pray it doesn't happen again 😭

Literally the full space RPG experience all packed into a single game. Huge value for multiple playthrough along with achievements that unlock more variety as you go. Manage crew, ship, weapons, modules, crew morale, crew jobs, skills, gear, and entire character as you go. I never imagined being sucked into this game when I installed but I am more that satisfied by all 30 or so playthroughs I've experienced. Well done devs!!

I hate trying to use those little sliders to get them to land on the exact numbers each time I start a game. Also, it would be less of a pain to start new games if the game could preferred starting galaxy, appearance, gender, NAME, ect. It is a lot to fill out each time and would be so much less of a pain if the game just ed my last choices at the VERY least. Most of the experiences I hope to have had with this game on purchase are all behind heavy RNG hard mode unlocks.

Well, it's not simple. You are dropped into the deep end with 30 crew who all have jobs and traits and stats. You have a map and you can tap stuff to see what it does, but the game is very unforgiving, so you'll die soon. Don't yake a break from the game or you will forget what you were doing and you'll have to relearn the intricacies. Overall it's good, but it didn't capture me like the screenshots would make it appear.

Plenty of depth, and for once I'm actually enjoying the story of a mobile game. No IAPs, no real-life wait times, plenty to do and plenty of strategy and ship-building to keep you occupied for a while. EDIT: The ship combat is just unfairly imbalanced. No matter what skills my crew has, or what tactics I use during a fight, I'm always at a disadvantage. The enemy ship rarely misses, and my missiles in particular miss about 90% of the time. Losing to ships rated well below mine. Still fun though.

What a fantastic game... Deep, still evolving tactics, strategy and story elements. This isn't a shallow, 15 minute experience. This is a full ship and crew RPG set in an open sandbox universe. The map manages to feel alive, and the more story elements the Dev adds the more engaging the game is. Meaningful achievement unlocks creates a powerful motivation to improve. One of my favorite games on any platform. Fair warning, you're going to fail hard before you get things figured out.

Honestly the game caught me off guard. There is a little bit of a learning curve if you want to play on the higher difficulties but outside of that u can wing it. You want to be a bounty hunter? Go for it. You want to explore planets hunting aliens for illegal artifacts? Do it. You want to trade rare goods through an established network of s. Sure thing. Story lines for each "chapter" are interesting too. Which is rare for space sandboxes.
