Accessibility notification for parents
Parents are notified whenever the accessibility permission is disabled on their child’s device. Enabling this permission prevents removal of the FamilyMode app and VPN. This also allows the device to be locked during Bedtime and Off Times.

This app drains your phone battery and has the nerve to tell you not to use your battery saver. You can't see someone's current location if their phone is dead, TMobile! Additionally, TMobile charges you $10/month for this app, which does very little in comparison to other locator apps. Don't bother with this. Try the Life360 app instead. Better, more features, no battery drain.

Works great if VPN is ON and not turned off or uninstalled. This app is very frustrating on the iphones. Have no problem with android. Found a work around on an android phone to prevent family mode app from turning off or uninstalling VPN. But for an iPhone I totally gave up. No 3rd party apps can prevent VPN from being turned off or uninstalled. Low battery with turn off VPN. Setting of VPN can be turned off with a swipe. I don't think this can be fixed

Applying filters to children's phones results in the slowest Internet connection. Half the time, it's almost like it's on 3g. Getting to the point where it may not be worth paying for. There are other filtering software that probably is worth the price by not slowing things down to a crawl. Clearly they need to apply more bandwidth and processing power to their filtering VPN.

So frustrating! Seriously considering canceling & paying on Google for something different. CONSTANTLY freezes and stops giving location changes all together - which was the only reason I got the app! Literally had the other phone in my hand & it was telling me it was still 5 miles away at the location we had left TWO HOURS ago! Never updated with the other locations we had been to, and have had to close, reopen, restart, reinstall... almost daily. Why????

Terrible. Hassle to manage, doesn't work half the time, I finally got rid of it. I used this for a couple years to monitor my kids' phone usage. It sort of worked. But I spent a lot of time troubleshooting, etc. Every once in a while, it would update or something and the kids phones would have to be set up again. Location worked sporadically, there's a limit to the number of sites you can blacklist manually, the filters for adult content have lots of missing URLs. More trouble than it's worth.

I do not recommend this app to anyone. It not only slows your connection to the internet, but when you disconnect from it, you are continually spammed with requests to connect. The app opens on its own to ask and if you don't connect, it just does it again! Not to mention the fact that you cannot access Google! Annoying and a wast of space.

Worthless. This app NEVER works, and does not deliver on any of its promises. I have spent hours w/ tech & repeatedly deleting & setting up the app again bc the VPN drops every few days. If you change the settings it doesn't update or work at all. You can block apps, but then they just thru the website. This app is just trash. If it was free I would figure you get what you pay for, but for the monthly fee, it is criminal to have such a sub par product from a big provider.

When we first got the app it was working great, but since the last update the only thing that works properly is the bedtime setting and time usage block. His location cuts off and only shows if he is actively using the phone instead of all the time which it used to do, which kind of defeats the purpose of me paying extra to have this feature since it doesn't work. It's very irritating.
