The fantastic thrilling turn-based strategy sequel, Ancient Empire II, Strike back. Based in the fantasy realm of Thorin, you control two royal brothers: King Galamar and Valadorn, as they seek to save their kingdom from an evil shadow demon. What this translates into is eight levels of Advance Wars-style tactical battle, pitting your modest range of units (soldiers, archers, catapults, dire wolves) against the enemy's vast forces.

I played this game to death almost 20 years ago when it was released by Macrospace. This is a very good free version updated for touch screen. *Since the recent update, the enemy bots only build soldiers and archers. Please fix!! Skirmish is unplayable atm because of this. **Reply to dev.. The AI difficulty cannot be changed in Skirmish mode which is where I wish to keep playing after completing the story. The default AI is too easy so it's no challenge at all. Thank you developer!

The first thing that came to my mind after seeing this nostalgic game that it will be just a emulated java game with bad controls. And I was WRONG! This is so much improved and optimized for the touch version! A map editor and tons of skirmish maps to play with. While its fan made, but it is absoutely like done by a professional. Thanks a lot dev for your hard work! Edit : Cons - 1) No battle animation. 2) No movement animation 3) in campaign, you can recall commander but in this you can't!!

Loved this game since I had my Sony Ericsson K800i. I played on it non stop. It was the only game I would play. Now it is available on Android I am absolutely loving it again. I am once again wasting my hours playing ancient empires. Bye bye clash of clans. It's time for a good old game. Game has now updated and it is actually harder. Terrain matters. More skirmish maps available, and still a good map editor mode to make your own maps. Top notch . I'm back to full happiness 😊

Hey, I enjoyed your classic game. Can you please add a 'Random map generator' in the Skirmish mode? The ready-made maps kinda gets repetitive and boring. If you can't do it because for some reason you're busy, lazy or something, then you can give me the game source code anytime so I can do it myself. Thanks.

Fantastic free game. Some similarities to Advanced Wars, excellently reimagined in a fantasy setting. Amazing execution in of look and feel. Remarkably well-balanced troops, and a challenging U which makes you think a bit, without displaying to many problematic flaws. Great job!

I played this game so much when i was a kid.. a lot of reviews here dont mention that, but this game was available for old phones with infrared file sharing damn.. good times.. i played this game for years, and only stopped when androids came out with newer generation games.. so this game is a port, and not a perfect one at that, but i appreciate it.. thanks

This is very well balanced game. It definitely needs moe features and expansion. I play skirmish mode and usually go with golem strategy and other three ai on the same team. I Personally believe ai must improve and become more more intelligent and even more units with special abilitys are good.

Not perfect, but more than worth it for a free game. I played more of this than many popular games out there. Pure strategy, easy to learn, you can play at your own pace, well balanced, and theres local multiplayer.
