Like four months have ed since they announce video assistant is being develop again. It's taking such a long time for a feature that was already developed and implemented. Samsung with every "update" they do they only go backwards. I'm done with samsung, even the phones are bad right now. I've been having problems with my phone since I bought it. I replace it only to have the same problems again. The two phones I had have problems with the camera hardware out of the box and now the software.

I've always used Google Search for my home page. This latest beta version , instead of showing just the google search bar, delivers news stories and other things I'm not interested in, including videos! I've searched and tried all google and browser settings and have found no way of eliminating this feature. update: issue resolved. My fault as there were new settings I was unfamiliar with.

This is a decent browser. I like the high contrast mode. The main issue is if you're using a third party launcher on Samsung device there is no option to add a web page shortcut to your home screen. A year and a half has gone by and the issue hasn't been fixed. On any non Samsung phone the option is there. That totally ruins any chance of using this browser.

EDIT; This update removes many of the features that I have liked, video full screen and if I rotate the screen it takes me out of the page. Going to try the non beta version. Love the app and this update. Especially the ability to change the scroll button from the right side to the left. Is there a way to add the bookmarks back onto the face of the bottom toolbar?

Update fixed app on the Pixel 6 Pro the next day, thank you. I did lose all of my open tabs, which are at least synced so I just have to open them all back up 1 by 1. Time consuming for 90 tabs 😅 SUGGESTED FEATURE: The ability to select multiple synced tabs from the list and open them all up in new tabs at the same time.

Used to be great until this recent update. It says that this is more for one-handed use, but they've gotten rid of the quick access to bookmarks on the bottom bar. That's the only reason I used this over Chrome. Instant one-handed access to bookmarks. Unless I'm one of the few that use this feature, this is a major buzzkill. Bring this feature back pronto, please.

Thanks for the reply. Samsung lacks many features a standard manager provides unfortunately. One can't even add a manually. So, please do consider ing other managers. Since almost all the other apps the auto fill framework, I don't think security can be an issue here. All the other features such as dark mode and customisable menu are great and I'm enjoying using the application. Thanks.

My go to browser, even on non-Samsung devices. Really love the bottom bar gestures and the quick access page layout in particular. One of the recent updates changed the 'find in page' behavior to make it scroll between different hits, which is, imo, a really clunky implementation, especially on larger web pages. The up/down arrow keys on the bottom right occasionally stop working, and waiting 4 seconds in some cases for the scroll animation to zoom past gets tiresome.
