It only had ads when saving or loading a year ago, now they pop up on startup as well. I miss-clicked and entered an ad about twice, using the app for over one and a half years now. I don't think that it is too much of a problem. Only thing I would wish for is to have an indent format when writing code. It's nice that it re the blank space, but it's barely noticeable. And that it sometimes doesn't load the last state (it does that about 95% of the time), I am just saving it more often..

Fantastic little editor. I use it for occasional coding (when I'm traveling), and I'm super pleased with it. It's lean, simple and to the point, without any unnecessary baggage. One additional feature I'd like to see added in the future is Find In Files and Replace In Files.

It works, has some gimmicks, like line numbers, time insertion. I understand such a project may not be free, but fullscreen adds, popping up unpredictable, is over the top. The app has a giant title bar, wich can not be hidden. On a phone screen, with the keyboard down below, this is waste. On the other hand, I miss a configurable toolbar. Gonna keep using the free well know old editor, abandoned but with all the bells and whistles.

It's a very nice app with multiple tabs and many other features. One downside though is the lack of right-to-left mode for viewing and editing text written in languages requiring this mode(like Arabic). Instead editing becomes so awkward and unwieldy with such languages and the experience of selecting text becomes completely messy.

App crashes after I save the file and when i want to edit many lines of text. If i want to copy/paste more than lets say, 1000 lines of texts to a new folder, it crashes when I try to SELECT them.. I would give it 2 stars if I used it often but i need It just for a couple of days and it did help me. Select up to a thousand lines. After every save, restart the app so I don't lose time and it works.

I wanted a Simple text viewing app, mainly for reviewing log files that I've automated. Yes, QuickEdit does that very well, but it does it on steroids! The ways it allows customization are almost overwhelming (and that's a good thing). And I just discovered its Goto Line # capability, which I'll make good use of to jump to the newest log record in a file. Sure, QuickEdit has its share of ads, but they haven't gotten in my way yet. Update: I've upgraded to QuickEdit+!

Love this app! I could not find any other apps that have the same basic features implemented properly. And the ads, while frequent, are the less-annoying unobtrusive type that don't go on forever, which is rare these days and makes using this app very convenient for quick text manipulation tasks. Thanks for making this app!

This editor is simply excellent! If you just need to write down some text files, this is good no-hassle-editor for it. The only thing I would like to see changed, is the need to click "DONE" after saving a file, that's just unnecessary, but otherwise no complaints.
