very useful app if you want just to keep track of what you consume daily. has a good intuitive interface, great database of various foods (sometimes even too many options to choose from), search and breakdown of nutrients. the only 2 things imho to be improved is the selection of weight - a text box instead of a slider would be better, and a darker theme.

This is a great app! one major improvement that I think would be simple to correct would be percentages rather than individual measurements of vitamins and minerals. That way, I don't have to memorize the daily dose requirement of every single vitamin and mineral, protein, or carbohydrate and fat. Percentages would be easier to understand. For example, an orange medium size contains approximately 300% of recommended daily Vitamin C. Otherwise, thank you for this great app!

This is exactly what I was looking for. It's minimalist and has a great database of nutrition facts. Ads are easily disabled. I was sick and tired of MyFitnessPal and its like constantly badgering me for yet another monthly subscription. I've taken to using a spreadsheet of my own creation for calorie tracking but there isn't a comprehensive site to find nutrition. This is comprehensive and very easy.

One of the most comprehensive food banks with nutritional information. Very friendly and detailed. All the categories are based on 100 gr but when you click on a specific food category it allows you to add more or less that 100gr for accuracy. I wish there was a paid version of the app so the adds disappear. It is an absolutely free app, you can also just hide the adds for free there is an option but next time you are using it, they are back so it's a bit annoying but great app nonetheless

Not bad, but not exactly what I was looking for either. If the dev could add new features, I'd pay for this. I'd like to be able to compare foods eg apples and oranges. I'd also like to be able to search for for example foods high in calcium and low in carbs but across food groups I can choose eg vegetables fish and fruits

It does provide good complete info. But it's not intended to be more than just a quick little reference. I think it uses the usda database, but it doesn't say anywhere in the app what databases is uses. Which is a big pet peeve of mine. It's hard to get doctors to take you seriously when you mention an app, and it's harder when the app isn't perfectly transparent.

It would be great if it included every vitamin mentioned on the uk nhs website. It would also be great if it could display a recommended intake diagram for each mineral and vitamin. Another cool function would be for it to be able to take a selection of food items and create an approximate value of nutrients. Even cooler would be a food log which creates a diagram throughout the the day giving you a visual representation of whether you have met your intake suggestions. It's a great app :)

Absolutely bloody brilliant! foods are logically laid out into groups, with pics, and you CAN search for an individual food contrary to what some reviews say. nutritional information for each food is comprehensive, and includes lipid values, minerals and vitamins. foods can be added to your favorites. there are even links next to each nutrient to definition/explanation in Wikipedia. comprehensive and well-presented data. Well done to the developer.
