The game is impossible! Don't get me wrong, I love it... at first. I played a lot civilization games and Polytopia so when I found this game, I thought it will be a different take. A different take it was, after you clear a certain amount of level, the game makes sure you know it is NOT free to play. Most of the time you already lost by round 6 because the enemy has 10 units surrounding you. You watched the ads or pay $$$ but they always get you anyway. Overall not worth it.

I've played this game for a really long time, and it's mostly been great, but now it seems the developers have chosen greed over player happiness. It's almost completely pay to play. I've spent a decent amount of money in the game, but now it's either spend about $5/day or grind for weeks to months to upgrade enough to move forward in the world. At this rate it will take months to become powerful enough to play ONE more level, or about $100. Probably going to cut my losses and uninstall.

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ : You will spend more time watching ads than you will playing the actual game. The game itself is good and fun. But what kills the experience is the sheer amount of ad intrusion that happens after nearly every action. Many carry offers of helpful perks and items that become 'necessary' both during and between games. And while it would be unfair to say there are pay walls, there are store options that quickly look to become necessary to keep up your progress. Less is more devs

What really pisses me off about games like this is the so-called balance issues. I get to the 3rd world (desert) and despite buying 💎 (I like to pay if the game is fun) the enemies suddenly begin producing units 3x my speed, and their units can each turn one of my units into a zombie if they kill it (which when they each have 3 enemies sniping it from behind, a move they shouldn't have AT TURN 3, is guarenteed) while my purple-tier archers (third upgrade after gray) no longer 1-shot. FIX THIS!

So far this game still fun and very chalenging. Yes sometimes it can be overwhelming, when you are swarmed by enemies. But if in the beginning of the game you focusing in building your armies. 2 archers, 1 shield and 1 priest. Usually you can stand enemies attacks. Instead of focusing frowing your area. Try to captured your enemy city.

For some reason it keeps setting me back at stage one everytime I exit the app, and re-open it. I only realized after defeating stage one over and over a few times. Kind of annoying. I'm just stuck at stage one permanently unless I can complete all the stages in one go without the app crashing, but the app gets a bit laggy after it's been open a while for me. Dunno if I'll keep playing because of this.

Terrible update after terrible update turned what was once a great f2p turn based strategy game, with some p2p options to speed up development into an unplayable mess that you have to spend $100's of dollars to progress. I have played since release and have watched the money hunger from the developers grow and grow and ruin the game. I'm currently at world 10-2 and haven't been able to progress since about 2 months before the update where all the units changed and gained their new abilities.

Started off great. Then enemy units backstab is constant because I cannot dictate which way I face on multiple spaces moved. The enemy starts with seemingly unlimited resources and half a dozen heroes. The new units introduced are absolutely OP over the older units. Ridiculous. Play 10 stages and delete.
