A POINT-AND-CLICK ESCAPE ROOMThis is a classic point-and-click game inspired by the 90s classics that defined the genre for so long. Think of it as my attempt to honor those old games that meant so much to me as I grew up.
In this game, you’ll explore a newly discovered temple that has been forgotten for thousands of years. It contains many rooms packed with puzzles and riddles, waiting for you to uncover its secrets.
Your old friend has been living in the temple for the past few months, investigating and trying to solve its mysteries. Then suddenly, no one hears from him anymore. The only person brave enough to enter the temple and search for him is, of course, you.
Will you find him? The temple is working against you, with each room filled to the brim with puzzles and riddles trying to stop you from uncovering all its secrets.
Some puzzles are like mini-games that you can solve right away; others require you to pause and observe your surroundings for clues. Some are easy, while others are much more difficult. The game features a built-in hint system that will nudge you in the right direction or completely reveal the solution if you choose. There’s no need to get stuck, as the next room awaits with new puzzles to solve and items to discover!
This game is in 3D, with smooth controls and a camera that allows you to take photos of anything in the game. No need to memorize difficult hints or notes!
So what are you waiting for? The adventure awaits! Can you solve all the puzzles and find your friend?
Features:
• Hint system to help when you’re stuck on a puzzle
• Auto-save feature that tracks your progress throughout the game
• So many puzzles to solve
• Even more hidden objects to discover
• Available in English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish
• Over 25 rooms to explore!
• Available with Play
I really hope you enjoy this game. If you do, there’s another one waiting for you: Legacy 4: Tomb of Secrets.

Important bug fix! The amulet might disappearin room 23 if you haven't updated the game before.
If it has gone missing, do this:
- In the Main Menu, click Legacy The Hidden Relic 13 times
- In the "Item ID" slot, type 42
- Click the button "Give Item"
You now have the amulet again, be sure to activate the puzzle on the left before progressing.

This is the third of four and I must say David has really stepped up his game. The puzzles are very tricky. The clues he has sprinkled all over are quite subtle. Still, I can't quit playing this game and look forward to game 4 soon. Follow up, some of these challenges are very difficult to figure out. I had to really use both the hints and the YouTube walk thrus. Still I really did enjoy this and look forward to #4.

First 2 games were great! This one was confusing, the hints unhelpful, and one puzzle in yellow didn't even work when I followed the official video. I used like 50 (instead of a couple) hints, and many did not tell me that the clue I needed was in, say, a well, and instead just told me to complete the room. Couldn't finish it.

EDIT. Just replayed. I think this was my favorite. Maybe i got better at these, but I found it much easier to follow and know what to do next. I really liked this game. Awesome graphics. Controls were a bit annoying at times, but didn't really interfere with game play. My only complaint was sometimes what you needed to do next was not intuitive. I had to use hints often to see where I needed to be ect. But maybe I need to sharpen my skills. Idk. I really would love to see more games from David.

Like with 2 the puzzles are challenging and unique. Graphics and story are fine. Very entertaining game. Totally worth the price. I can even see myself replaying this game some day. I took away a star because the controls weren't as good here as they were in 2. Some frustrated minutes were spent tapping the screen over and over until it finally responded. It's not so bad that I couldn't get through it while enjoying myself.

I enjoyed this game very much. It was the hardest I had to think in a long time. However, the one puzzle in the green corridor where you had to get numbers from every room was awful. It was hard to figure out which room was where, and I had to go back to each room a couple of times due to the randomized game numbers after failing.

Great game David! Awesome puzzles, God knows where you come up with this stuff with a team of one. Very creative mind you have! I wouldn't mind being able to see how many total hints we used at the end, and possibly if you have already used the same clue that it doesn't count to your total? (ie, I went to use the second hint "which room should I be in" and closed out of it, so needed to reuse a hint) Thanks for your fantastic efforts! Looking forward to the next one!

Innovative but unplayable. This game does a few good things that all escape room games should do. Firstly, the camera is an amazing asset and saved me a lot of scrap paper. Every one should have them. Second, the hint screen, though it's a bit lacking. But the puzzles are so convoluted that even with a walkthrough and struggling against the controls and ALWAYS WAITING FOR ANIMATIONS, I cant even begin to recommend anyone play this. Just watch the walkthrough and go play The Room

David - I am your biggest fan!! I love the Legacy series and I am always happy to see another one! The price is well worth it; your storyline is unique, the graphics are very well done, and after several hours of play I am delighted to still have more halls to enter and more tricky puzzles to solve. My only critique is that I find the control of certain items to be a bit tricky. (The mirror in the blue hallway was a pain for instance). That being said, I am still enjoying every minute. Bravo!
