Obvious ads blitz, poor functionality, slow response time. There's no way this many ads can't be funding a better app production and maintenance than this. Constant typos are rampant. This is a major news outlet for the area. It's better to have NO product than to look this ridiculous. If it were some YouTube news influences app, I'd understand the poor quality, but for WFSB to maintain such a bad app is unexceptable.

This used to be a great app. It still has lots of information but I think channel 3 needs to change their advertising. Their commercials always say " You can rely on a app when every second counts" . Then why do I have to watch a mattress commercial before I can check the radar when a severe thunderstorm is coming in? They never had commercials before and now there are pop-ups and videos all the time.

Ads are ridiculously long and excessive. I receive push notifications with great headlines. However, when I want to know more about the actual news story in the notification, I'm brought to view the entire live news broadcast vs. the article with the news story from the notification. UI is clunky, can be difficult to navigate when looking for something specific, such as a news article.

The old app had its problems but for the most part, worked really well. This new one is full of ads, most of the articles don't even load, and a lot of the national articles seem to crash the app. There's always been a lot of notifications to begin with, usually when the news starts. This was manageable for me but now there's way more than usual to the point it's too annoying. I'm keeping the second star since WFSB is my choice for news, but I'm using the Fox61 app until this one is fixed.

Here's an interesting update. App sets volume on Samsung Android devices to medium. I turn it down and the app turns it back up. This happens on all 4 devices we own. I agree with everyone else. This latest version is horrible. It's not friendly at all. National news items cause crashes when opened. Uninstalled the app and all problems went away.

This new updated version looks like a bunch of ads. There are way too many tiles and they are hard to read. Features like the weather technical discussion are removed. When navigating to the need stories, they continue in a single column of tiles that also contains ads so it's not clear to the what is a real story and what is click bait. I'm sorry, but this app is being uninstalled.

Worst app ever. I hate to say this about WFSB because I'm a devoted follower, but this is unusable. The weather radar function is lousy. Using the menu to navigate just takes me to a blank screen. I uninstalled, then reinstalled and the menu then at least loaded the page. Wanted to a picture, filled out the form but the button to select the file wouldn't work. I give up. WVIT here I come.
