This is an unofficial app compatible with GoPro™ Labs enabled cameras. With the launch of GoPro Labs, s can control their GoPro cameras via custom QR Codes. This utility makes that easier on a mobile device, particularly for those without reliable internet connections. QR Codes generated :
1) setting video, photo and time-
lapse camera modes on the black edition HERO7, HERO8, HERO9, HERO10/Bones, HERO11/Mini and MAX cameras.
2) setting up custom Protune configurations
3) setting camera preferences
4) triggering time delay starts, including sunset and sunrise
5) IMU, audio level, speed or motion triggered video captures
6) for multiple QR Codes.
7) saving QR Codes for sharing

To successfully use this app, s must first upgrade their GoPro camera to be using GoPro Labs firmware.

Very useful and easy to use. Nearly complete feature set, just missing a few things like front display options (oF0). I like the local date/time reset integration, a UTC date/time option is missing for those using auto cloud . Has all the experimental triggers (except usb power event). Much easier to work with this app vs cards or website.

Revised review: it has been sorted out and my app now works great. The new features are great, and the developers reached out to promptly help resolve the issue. So prior review is now null-Worked great till the most recent update. Now it just stays on a white screen. I hope this is resolved soon. I use QRControl for my GoPros for a skate competition I do every year. My dry run of tech is this month and now I don't have the app to help with settings. Very disappointing. 😔

Nice app - very convenient. I'm having a problem when I try to save a QR code, I get an error message at the bottom "QR Sticker save Failed!". I checked my app permissions, and Storage is enabled, so I don't know what else would be causing that. I assume the save writes the QR code to my photo gallery. A nice feature would be the ability to maintain a list of saved codes, rather than having to swipe left/right to navigate between codes. This may be a GoPro labs issue, but I don't see an option (either in the app or in the labs online list) to set the camera front/back selection on the MAX.

It is really handy. I generated a pack codes to suit multiple oportunities so as to be able to capture every shooting oportunity at short notice. Before doing this I had to fiddle around fidling with settings. This takes off all the pressure. I save the codes to an exclusive gallery of codes for instant access on phone and tablet home page folders. Then scanning without using the app. As an Android app, can you add facility to sync jpg codes between mobile devices.

Hello, Im getting a White Blank Screen when I open the App (Attached image), I used to be able to use this App without problems. I tried several solutions I found on the web, but nothing seems to work. Maybe you guys could point me in the right direction, thank you for your help. Best regards, Ruben C

Awesome app and functionality! Love it! It would be really useful if you could copy a profile to a new one, so that you can adjust one or two settings only. It would also help if you could scan someone's code within the app and make any adjustments to it.

Recent update forces app to dim and locks out brightness control. It's unusable. I tried to clear cache etc but that did nothing other than make me lose all of my saved settings. Great :( This is not a issue, this is a developer issue. And replies seem to show they're on denial.

It used to work very well until recently. For some reason, when I open the app the screen dims to its lowest setting, the opposite of what you want. All attempts to change this result in the screen automatically dimming.
