Does the basic job, but spams you with ads. I don't mean ads within the app, but it throws ads at you when you aren't even using the app. If the only solution is to turn off messages for the app, then you lose the ability to see normal ones such as when your garage door is open or closed. It's not just the app but it makes me wish that I hadn't bought a product that uses it.

The app still does not take into daylight savings time so all the lights come on 1 hour offset from actual. This happens every. single. year. And it takes several days for it to finally adjust. Really cheap/poor programming. I even checked to ensure the time on each bulb is correct and location is correct.

Love the product but the app notifications could use some work. For example, if I have an auto-close time set for my garage and it is already closed, it doesn't notify me when the time comes, instead notifying me when the garage is opened again that "Auto Close Failed The garage door auto close function for your Garage Door has failed. Please check it right away" without storing this notification anywhere in the app. Would rate 5 stars if it said "auto close overridden, door already closed!"

This sure has got one big limitation: no multi . You can only use one accout per app. All your devices, wherever they are, can be ed into one only and will be visible within the same space. If you have shared devices with others you must also share your entire , including all your devices! "Scenes" can help doing some device grouping and actions scheduling.

Overall really good and straight forward to use. Some plugs can be a little tricky to setup. Don't bother with the qr code scan they iften don't work. Let the aoo scan the network for devices. But once connected it's seamless from then on.

This app and wifi receptacles and switches, both on and off and dimmers, are the best we've found on the market, and they are very reasonable priced. They do not lose their settings, names, or wifi connections when the power goes out, i.e., during storms or when the power company changes generators.
