I like Poweramp so paid for the full version unlocker. It works well if I have an internet connection but invariably mid way through a long haul flight it stops working giving me a message it can't validate my purchase. Then I have to switch to another media player. I thought the whole point of the full version unlocker was to avoid this... but alas no. So a great media player if you have internet but incredibly frustrating if you like to listen to music on an aeroplane.

The app deletes my songs. I have been using this app for years now but came to notice from 6 months ago that the app deletes my songs that i haven't listened to for awhile or the one's i have listened much then suddenly stopped. Also, the app doesn't keeping Playlist for more than 3-6 weeks. Hence, deletes it. Lastly, the search doesn't work properly. I can have a song and search it by name or artist or genre, and still, it won't appear, but if I got to the list, it's there. Please fix.

Hey I'll pay for the feature package if you fix a few things in the app. 1. take out the annoying pop-up that tells me which "listening profile is picked". Like the name of the device the music is playing through. Also make it easier to switch those profiles. 2. Take away any Internet required moments in the app. IDC if it's just the first 24 hours. I MEAN NONE. I've had to restart a phone journey b4 and I DL this app first but sometimes I didn't have access to the Internet. So it sucked.

I installed this app on my Galaxy S21 about 3 years ago. It worked fine until about 6 months ago. Now it randomly stops in the middle of a song. I've tried endless setting fixes..... nothing works. Update Nov/2024--- that problem dissappeared on its own, overall the App is fine except it always seems to start on its own when I start vehicle in the morning and blasts noise loudly. This happens even if I was using the radio at shutdown. Why isnt this addressed in settings? E.G.... "no auto-start"

I prefer to have my personal music on my phone. I don't use streaming services or anything like that. Poweramp, by a long shot, is the best music player on mobile. Endless customizations. Awesome visuals while listening to music. I love that it actually finds cool album art that can also be changed if necessary. There are numerous skins you can and then modify those to your liking. I really wish they would make a version for windows. It would smash any competition for sure

I bought this for $3 in October 2011, and I feel bad for that. This is THE music player for people who enjoy being in control of their locally saved music. Extensive meta editor and album art search. The best EQ settings (I don't like 'one button solutions'). The best visualizers (just browse and save the ones you like the most). Hell, I'd even pay $3 a month.

Used to be the best music app by miles. Now it's buggy. When another app makes a notification, poweramp will stop playback 80% of the time and not resume, but not everytime, just most of the time. Ie. navigator or Waze gives a turning instruction, it will kill the music 80% of the time, other times it just dips in volume as it should. Same for any notification whether or not I'm in poweramp at the time. Been an issue for a year at least.

This app has one really annoying bug. When I'm listening to a specific album or folder, I have shuttle OFF. So I'll be listening to it like this on my bluetooth earbuds at work. However, when the phone connects to the car sound system, it goes to full shuffle mode for any album/folder/category!!! It is bloody annoying as it always becomes apparent once the last song is completed and the next random song starts, while I'm already driving!!! This is intermittent but persistent!!
