This is a great app. Super flexible and I especially like the multiple playlists you can create. However, there is one frustrating issue that means I'll have to rate it lower. I've used this app for years, and the search is always broken. It often doesn't find episodes or gives an error. But when I scroll through the episode list, I can find what I'm looking for. Another small issue is the unintuitive interface. Lots of options, which is great, but it's also a bit hard to navigate.

I'm an English teacher and I use this app to play class audio. Works great so far, except for one thing: If I'm near the beginning of an episode (mp3) and I've paused playback and then I press "Rewind", nothing happens. EDIT: I clicked "Remove ads" and got a "click here to legally commit to buying this" sort of screen. And only AFTER I agreed to that, I was told the price. Fortunately, the price turned out super affordable so I paid it. But I'd appreciate it if the order of the two was reversed.

When I signed into the Podcast Republic app with my Gmail , I clicked on the subscription tab and waited for the page to populate with all my subscriptions. While this was being done a slider screen popped up with a message appearing, asking me if I wanted to interact with the notifications; When I attempted to click the yes, or no radio buttons nothing happened. The pop up message just stared at me frozen, while the background flickered. Please fix this issue. Thank you

Time tracking is wildly off, an issue that I had earlier in the year. Another review (10/16/24) has noticed this exact error: ~50m episodes will show as 3hrs long, making the seek & start/end skip features useless. PR is otherwise perfect, but this error is recurrent and untenable. (PS: I never use battery optimization on this app) Ed: what did Dev do to fix this last time? It was fine after the fix up til now.

An incredible podcast app. In my opinion, one of the very best apps of its kind on the play store. The amount of fine tuning and customization is seemingly limitless. An outstanding podcast app that also includes radio and RSS feeds. Open the FAQ page to learn about all you can do inside the app.

I really enjoy the app and would hate to leave it for another streaming app as my entire listening history is here. But please, *please* fix the bug where almost every single podcast i listen to skips forwards or backwards at a random point, sometimes by up to a minute or more, ruining the flow of what I'm listening to. ed podcasts don't have his issue, just streaming ones (wifi, 4g or 5g, it doesn't matter). It is so infuriating I have to go elsewhere if it keeps happening.

absolutely needs to be able to sync playlists or the sync feature is completely useless. What's the point if I can't go to another device and simply press play to pick up where I've left off. It's not even available as a paid add on. I use this on my phone, but also have a tablet and an android stereo in my car. Add this function and my review will increase.

It's fine, but these devs CANNOT figure out how to make s work correctly and simply. There are individual and global settings, but it doesn't seem to matter. Want ONLY TWO of the most recent episodes? How about we all of them and fill your phone. And no, this isn't PEBKAC. This is egregiously bad design and execution. I recommend searching elsewhere for a podcast app.
