I understand the need to have ads to pay the bills, but an ad every 1-3 times you click on messages is overly intrusive and ruins the app eerience. Other than this, Hornet is pretty good. Impressed by how it's trying to grow from just a hookup app into what could become one of the first legit gay social networks. Excited to see where that leads. Just, please, tone it down with the nonstop animated ads. There's just too many.

Great social media type app for gay men. It has a little bit of everything, but you can use it for dates and meeting people as well. You can share articles and photos and videos. There are stories. My only real complaint is that when you click an external link, it doesn't save your place in the app for more than a minute or two. Unlike other apps, it will reload the whole app and you will have to scroll through your feed to find where you are at again.

Inbox advertising and notifications for spam/ments is total BS! Not to mention the random 5 second commercials that lock the app until finished with embarrassingly loud music making it impossible to be discreet while using the app. Also the ever present banner ads on top of giant ads within the grid of profiles, means sometimes 50% + of the screen is ads. It's just far too aggressive & ruins the experience. Worse than any app I've used. Deleted and uninstalled. 👎

Really though??? What's the point of having d this app or having it featured for if you can't actually use it for it's purpose? There's absolutely no way to get past the point of ing validity as after you've put in plenty of work detailing your profile, it will prompt you to yourself via SMS verification code, only the code will never arrive, hence you will never be able to use this the way it's d. The Play store needs to flag this app bigtime.

Is it OK to make the invisible feature only accessible for s? Isn't it a security feature? With every update it gets worse and worse. And too hungry for money. Full screen ads with audio you can't stop.

Very disappointed. I paid for the subscription hoping I could see much more profiles like JackD but as soon as I paid and started scrolling, the profiles finished in a few scrolls. Proofing that either the subscription doesn't worth it or simply not many people using this app. There are not many s at all around you to be found. So don't subscribe to this app.

I just updated the app and it's completely f***ed. It takes over 1 minute to and after being logged in for 5 seconds it hits you with an advert that doesn't load, and there's no way to close the ad. You have to force close the app and re-open. But then you're going to have the same issue and go around and around in circles.

Very slow to launch the app and , lags a lot, i don't receive notifications eventhough it's on, there's always a dot🔴 on the messages but all messages are already read. And the most annoying thing is the back to back ads, sometimes three ads in a row and very frequent. It's annoying really and thinking to delete.
