Unravel a mystery inspired by Viking myth and legend in The Frostrune, a point-and-click adventure based on ancient Norse culture and environments.

Find yourself shipwrecked on an island after a summer storm. Nearby, a recently abandoned settlement shows signs that its inhabitants left in a panic. Surrounding the village is a dark, dense forest filled with ancient rune stones and burial mounds. Short but very sweet game! A lot of care clearly went into crafting the atmosphere, sound design and overall aesthetics. Puzzles do not take gigantic leaps of logic to figure, which is always a plus, and the progression of the effect of the main character's action on the setting felt like I was actually doing stuff and helping out! A charming game, worth taking a look.

BEAUTIFUL game, I'm so happy I came across it. I'm a nerd for norse mythology so I love it even more, but fantastic art and storyline. There seems to be an issue with the hints, it's really hard to scroll through them so they're hard to use, but other than that I'm happy with everything! No ads or payments needed which is great but I honestly would pay even if there were. Absolutely recommend.

The game is lovely. Art is polished and breathtaking. The sound and atmosphere are amazing, and the attention to details is just superb. It's quite short, but the story will keep you engaged; I managed to finish it in 4 hours, but that's because some puzzles took a bit of time for me to solve. I didn't believe that it's ad-free, but it's true. As a matter fact, there's no in-game purchase! It was a truly nice surprise!

Finally got around to playing this hidden gem. Solid game. Some good puzzles, neat story, cool backgrounds, great music and atmosphere. A bit short - seasoned adventure game players will probably finish it in an afternoon with no hints, but it's well worth playing. It's too bad it'll probably be the only game ever released in the series since this company hasn't produced anything since and doesn't seem active presently.

I cannot love this game more than I already do. The story is captivating, with great puzzles throughout. I won't lie, a few were difficult, I was forced to use hints. The game is surprisingly free, with a distinct lack of payment or advertising. This is a proper game that could be a PC game. This is not something I would expect from a mobile game. And the ending, perhaps a second game comes soon? I would love to play it if there is one.

I love everything about this game. However, every 30 -60 seconds it crashes. It's a shame because it looks amazing, so yeah except for the crashing I love everything about it. Update: I ended up installing the game on another device and it worked perfectly. Definitely worth your time, play it with headphones.

Beautiful game, spooky ambiance, very immersive. No problems on my Note 8 whatsoever. Just wish they'd have an option to skip the speaking, the language was beautiful but painstakingly slow. The singing though blew me away... I stood there messing with it, not finishing the puzzle just to listen to their dreamlike voices. Pretty cool overall.

This was a super fun, engaging game. I loved the storyline, the artwork, and the creepy spirit voices in the old language. The puzzles were challenging but not insane. The only thing is that at times you feel a little forced to use hints, as you have no way of knowing where to go next without them. So it sort of feels like cheating but I don't know how you'd play without it, and also, there is an exceeding amount of "go over here. Now go all the way back to this spot. Now go back to the original spot you were just at ten seconds ago." So that gets kind of old. But other than that I had a really fun time playing this game and I'm a super tough critic. I usually install a new game and have it removed from my phone again in under an hour because it's not up to my standards of playability. However, this game held my interest and I played the entire thing all the way through. Also, thanks for making it free!! :)
