My name is Stephan Kesting and I’ve been doing martial arts for more than 37 years.
The grappling arts have been my main focus for about 25 of these years, and now I’m a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and also a certified instructor in Erik Paulson’s Combat Submission Wrestling.
In addition to the grappling qualifications I’m also a black belt in Kajukenbo Karate, an instructor in Dan Inosanto’s Jun Fan JKD, Maphalindo Silat and Filipino Martial Arts program. I’ve studied Japanese Judo, Russian Sambo, various Chinese Kung Fu systems, Brazilian Capoeira, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and many other martial arts.
I’m not bringing up those qualifications to boast. The reason I mentioned them is to establish that I’ve been around the scene, trained with a lot of different people, and have a good understanding of the challenges that grapplers face on the mats everyday.
I know quality, and can recognise stuff that really works when I see it.

When the app opens a cursor moves across a curved dotted line and the message "fetching data" appears, but the app never finishes fetching the data. No instructional content has appeared in the day that I have had this app. If this lack of functionality continues for a few more days, I will uninstall the app. Please fix this bug.

Terrible app, don't waste your money on it. I've purchased many instructional videos, but every time I try to open the app, I get an "error data fetching" message. I reached out to Stephen for help but he hasn't replied. I have a lot of respect for Stephen and the contributions he's made to jiu-jitsu

Brilliant content when it works. I have purchased most of the apps but after the update they disappeared and can't be restored. I have to re each app individually to add them to the master app library. Annoying but it's a workaround until the next update. Edit. It's working fine now, all the content is brilliant.

I started training BJJ and then got pretty injured. Then I discovered Stephan's How to defeat bigger stronger opponent with both Emily Kwok and Brandon Mullins and realised I have a unique opportunity. I could do a much better job avoiding most of the rookie mistakes, better avoid future injuries, and the best part - to skyrocket my game! It is precise, building the game from foundations, very comprehensible for newbies to really advanced stuff so I would highly recommend it! Great value!

The content looks great but it's a struggle to the individual videos. I am trying to preview the BJJ Formula and Modern Leglock apps to see if they would be useful for me but I one or two videos and then it gets stuck on "waiting to ." If I bought the whole app, would it take me a month to get everything loaded onto my phone?

Content-wise this is excellent stuff, not just technique but clear analysis as well. However, the implementation is quite memory-hungry and it would be great if at least the video material could be pushed to memory card, it seems that's not possible at the moment.

somehow could restore all my previously bought apps now 😃 the videos are opened in an external video player of your choice, a bit weird, but nice as you can get the url. Also depending on the video viewer app you use, the phone is no longer blocked from locking.

Even though they are currently having compatibility issues with the app for Samsung Galaxy S24, the email was super responsive and provided me access for all my past purchases through their web platform. 5 stars because of the !
