Welcome to the world of imagination and magic in The Fairy Tale Tarot! Brought to life by award winning artist/writer Lisa Hunt, The Fairy Tale Tarot encourages us to find new and deeper meaning in the familiar stories we’ve loved since childhood.

This is a very innovative Tarot, a deck that demands some degree of effort from readers. Each card relates to an entire fairy tale, keyed to the meanings of the Tarot. You will recognize many tales, like Three Little Pigs, Rapunzel, and Snow White. And you will learn new tales, drawn from Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands, and Native America.

Many of the Major Arcana are renamed in a fairy tale manner, such as Innocence for The Fool, The Fairy Godmother for The Empress, and Happily Ever After for The World. The elemental suits are artfully referenced in the Minor Arcana. The characters and plot of each fairy tale subtly convey the traditional meanings of the RWS cards.

This is a very deep and multi-layered Tarot. This deck encourages us to engage the world of fairy tales in a Jungian manner. Lisa Hunt’s art is so lovely that the wisdom and beauty of her writing is sometimes overlooked. I absolutely love the written descriptions in this deck. Very impressive. The cards themselves have been executed brilliantly, but it is hard to relate them to any other system; RWS, Marseilles, Thoth for example. They are related to the specific fairytale depicted. I am a RWS gal myself. All in all, I have enjoyed this deck for looking up meanings and selecting my daily tarot card. 💕

Good app, lovely for when you dont have cards on you. I have the actual set of cards but I love that I can take this on the go..my only confusion is the new card, snow white and rose red, Im assuming thats mean to be the "blank" tarot card but Im relatively uninformed so perhaps I am just missing something, it doesnt exist in the original deck but its pretty and I wish it had been

Excellent! I love how this app includes the original stories for each of the tales referenced. It's also pretty awesome that fairy tales from so many different cultures are featured in this.

Beautiful deck with a LOT of depth; full text about the fairy tales is available within the app (which I love) or you can use the summarized meanings when you want to. This deck is well worth purchasing.

Each card has a beautiful story to it that each card alone is worth the price of the app. Colors are eye catching and each card has so many details that I am mesmerized by each card. I love this app so much I bought the actual cards.

Pros are beautiful art, nice descriptions, the daily card function is great; cons are I wish there were reversed card readings, art cards come up during daily card and have no purpose.
