Sadly the product / meal selection is worse than just using the website. The app only offers 100g/ml in the portion selection, the website has the actual portion size of the product. Like 70g for a bread or something. Also the app somehow has less products, some I only find on the website. Edit: Thanks to the dev for pointing out that there is a database setting. Sadly this does not alleviate the problem of the missing preset portion sizes.

I've recently had a health scare and came back to this app as it has always been a solid choice overall, and as I also have a smartwatch, I opted for the version to automatically import activity data. I am now left wondering what i am even paying for, considering that it does not work properly, constantly desyncs, doesn't show the same calorie out for activity as my activity tracker, offers no manual override, doesn't have a watch widget, doesn't import body-water or water tracking...

Because YAZIO is not listening to customers, I finally switched to FDDB and already love it after a few days. Ah and it's only a fraction of the price. It's so good - only one small thing would be nice: If I could customize the grouping in journal (snacks, diner, and such) - it would be perfect.

A great and simple app that has all functionality that I need. I hope the database of food products will become richer in the future. I don't understand why the app splits my recipie to single components when I modify the quantity but I can live with that for now.

Great app, works good, I am really happy. I wish it would sync with health connect though. I use it as a tool to count carbs and my glucose app from dexcom taps in to the Google health connect for sports activities and steps. If it also could get my nutritional intake from fddb it would be perfect.

The app design is not very intuitive. Bad usability. I used yazio before and like the simplicity and intuitiveness a lot better

Overall a fantastic app with lots of neat features, but needs to add filters to its simplistic search function so that you can filter by brand, or extra details like low fat, etc. The search currently operates as a OR search, rather than AND, so putting in extra usually counterintuitively makes it harder to find what one is looking for. EDIT: Thanks Devs for responding - glad to hear you are working on it. Keep up the good work!

Despite the slightly cluttered non-intuitive interface I've been enjoying the app the past week - the fact that the food database has so many German foods helps a lot. But I've hit a frustrating bug. I want to add recipes (essential to cut down daily entries) - but when I add ingredients from my existing lists it forgets the amounts. Every time. Then I have to go back to the list to check how much of X should be - not going to do that.
