Flexibility + ease of use can't be beat. I've tried different apps. First a timer for running called "Couch to 5K," but intervals were hard-wired, couldn't be changed. Tried a stopwatch, but no audible signal, also complicated to program. This app was the third try and I am super happy with it. Does what it says and does it simply & perfectly. Time to switch to the paid version - not that the free version isn't perfect, more to reward the developers for a job well done.

review edit: appreciate the response from the dev. the solution to my issue worked. though now using the app is more clunky of an experience for me but it works alright now used to be a nice simple timer but i have been having issues with audio in the app. the sounds for each interval keep getting thrown out of sync or go away entirely... i don't even have music going while the app is running... now it's happening more frequently. not very helpful when trying to do a workout

This app is very well thought through, I have only two suggestions to make it even better: After creating a workout in cycles mode, give the option to increase rest or work periods on a high level (for all the blocks equally) like is possible at the start of workout creation. Also please add the option to voice announce the section AFTER the next section too so that the next work section is announced at the end of the previous work section (or just skip announcing the rest section). I have been searching for a long time for good timer app and there was always some basic functionality missing or the ux was just bad or anything. Not with this app, everything I needed and also some extras that are really nice. And totally intuitive and works a 100%!! Finally!!! Really great work!!!!

I can fully recommend this app. You can tell that the developer put in a lot of thought concerning functionality and flexibility. The app is useful for Tabata workouts but also easy to adapt for regular workouts. The navigation can be a bit tricky, since so many features are available. But if you put in the time to explore the app, it is a companion for every timed (or untimed) workout. It is one of those apps, where I gladly pay a few euros extra.

Best I found to set up your own training program. Still not fully there, but the best. Having sets of individual exercises to choose from, would be grand. I created my own picking pictures from the Internet, a long and painful process. Having a single standard duration for all exercises, pauses and repeat of cycles, would make life easier. Might develop my own app in the end... 😂😂😂

One of the better Workout Timer. The only problem i have with this, although i turned off the Vibration, my smartwatch vibrates every second. Wanted it to vibrate the last seconds, but regardless what i have configured it vibrates every second. The smartwatch is a Garmin Forerunner 945. Kind regards Sascha Grau

I love this app!! You can set your own intervals. You can program multiple workouts and add the exercises you want to do and it will say it for you. There is also an option to color code each Workout. I like to just set workout intervals alternating with a rest intervals and setting how many cycles or sets I want. The bell is loud enough for me to be able to blast my music! I opted for the one time fee to keep as my own. I highly recommend this Tabata/Interval timer!!
