Frequent events that require a specific character to participate, character can only be acquired as a paid purchase. These characters are then frequently weaker than free characters to the point of being useless without upgrades that will also require another paid purchase. Monetization is extremely heavy for a game with no interactive play - click a button to time, click a button to watch an ad, that's it.

Update- The game does run better, but why does this take almost 10gb of space! That is insane! Staying at a 1 star. With every update, this game gets worse and worse. The newest event won't even load. Makes my bluetooth constantly crash, then lags like crazy and is virtually unplayable. I've given them multiple updates to fix these issues, and they still haven't, so I'm deleting this game.

Update: 10/02/24 new Blood Brit event has the app crashing and closing...... This game is a good time killer. A bit repetitive. I've been playing it for a while. But there's an issue that's been starting recently. The game has been glitching, freezing up and then crashing. The game has become unstable. Correct that issue then maybe I'll add a couple of stars.

Ads to double cash don't work most of the time if you have an Android phone, on going issue they aren't fixing!!!! Too hard to earn gears or power bars to complete tasks/upgrade! If game cash could be used to buy gears or bars it would be so much better! Game cash does not continue to the next city so why not make it useful! #10 is supposed to earn new wrestlers but does not. Customer service is good but actually working would be better!

Honest only been playing couple months. It's a fun decent game for what it is. I wish AEW had a game like WWE Champions. But I'm giving it a low score cuz A. It takes a long time for game to load/ start up. B. It takes a really really really long time to get recourses to upgrade matches and wrestlers. C. Also almost every time I watch a video or buy something the game crashes. I WISH they would fix this. I would love to give more stars but I lost my and the help team was very helpful.

used to be a good game. now it's all about spending real money. all the game challenges require characters that are only available via buying them. the in game rewards are impossible to complete without buying stuff. the free rewards are completely useless and don't even match the wrestlers. matchmaking system doesn't make sense. the progress rewards don't help. Just another cash game. can't unlock new stuff without buying one of the requirements

I've been enjoying this idle game for a few weeks now. I'm on Episode 27 of the "main story" and haven't felt it necessary to purchase anything in order to succeed. I'd rate it a solid 3 1/2 to 4 stars. Their customer service is wonderful. I had an issue with an event leaderboard and they fixed the issue within hours of reporting it. For that alone, I gave the game 5 stars.

I'm giving 5 stars based mainly on the fact that the team were able to help me fix the crash issues in the beginning... after their help, the game has crashed on me exactly zero times... having said that the game is fine! A good time waster if you're waiting for an appointment or need to the time.
