These guys used to be great, on time, and reliable. But over the last few months, drivers often don't show, are rude, their service center is rude, and the list goes on. After missing 2 doctors appointments due to either no shows, and or late arrival, and a flight. I no longer consider Ride Yellow as a dependable service. Look elsewhere.

The UI is a little clunky when it comes to setting your pickup location and destination. Then, it failed to give details about cab & driver. Driver arrived in ten minutes. Asked for address even though it should have been sent in app. I spent $3 less than estimate. Used this app because the bus I need doesn't run on President's Day. Update 04/10/20: Waited 20 mins, then it ended up getting canceled. Decided to call number. Dropping from 4☆ to 3☆.

As the review from nearly a year ago states, the app gives an error when trying to add any credit card in order to take advantage of the d discount codes. Apparently the issue lies with Yellow Cab's Square , as the app gives me a view into the error process and states that the merchant's Square must be authorized first. No added card, no discount codes. Given that this error has existed for a year now, I'm not even positive the app will even still schedule a ride for me.

This app sucks. I waited over an hour and never saw a cab. I cancelled & reordered ride. Now both show as previous rides. No doubt I'll probably be charged. I'll have to cancel payment if that's the case. Since their are no humans to talk to on the phone their is no way to complain. The app page you can see where cabs are. I watched for an hour. No cabs were even close. I don't recommend this app to anyone.

UPDATE: It won't actually let you use your credit card information to pay for a ride in the app, so it's pretty ineffective in of an app. Also, there's no way to this company with any concerns. I left my jacket in a cab, and they won't respond to me so I can get it back. I submitted a help ticket before it was suggested in the response to my original review before that was suggested, and no one ever ed me. Months later, the app still doesn't work with credit cards.

Taxis are cheaper than Uber or Lyft and typically the drivers are more experienced. The only flaw in this app is that you have zero idea about how long your driver will take to pick you up. The app has no info until 2 minutes before the driver arrives. One great part, I schedule rides in advance, the driver is always on-time, every time! If they add real-time pick up info, this would be a 5 star app.

Overall worked great. A few rough edges, particularly around and input (I put in a date and location at the beginning of a form, and they didn't persist to the confirmation page so I had to do it again). That being said the driver was nice and on time. Easy to spot the cab and the app tells out the license plate number to confirm you are getting into the right car :D

Overall I like the app. However, I scheduled a pickup to go to the airport. My flight was delayed so I needed to change the reservation. You can't change you have to cancel and reschedule. More than an hour before my scheduled pickup, I had to reschedule. Unfortunately, the driver didn't get the cancellation. He called and left me an obscene message. If not for this, I would give a higher rating.
