It doesn't capture every shot, but I can handle that. BUT, it Can't deal with jumping holes, Can't deal with courses where the 18 is derived from a 27 holes, that are matched up in different ways depending on player traffic and the starter. Had to give up trying to track on both of my last two rounds because of this, and these are very common issues where it play.

I really like the club advice as I build my shot history. Unfortunately, it takes a good amount of correction to get an accurate representation of all shots in a round. The learning curve when first using the system is significant. All in all I am getting great benefits from employing the Arccos system.

Arccos for the most part is excellent! My only issue is that there is no option to not include a hole in the data. I usually play stableford, so once I can't score any points I tend to pickup my ball and take a 10 for the hole. This is usually because of losing 1 or 2 balls from the tee, which I record as 1 drive +9 penalty strokes from that shot. However, this means my driving stats are significantly worse than they should be. Arccos please give us a blow up hole option!!

This app is pretty good for tracking your golf game. It has some helpful features, including the GPS distance accuracy, which is good. The analysis tools are helpful for identifying the strengths and weekness of your game. The main problem with the Arccos system is link device used with the sensors that you attach to each club. The link device often loses and does not pick up shots. Using my phone which has to be put in your front pocket, worked better for me than the small link device.

I'm not a fan. 18 birdies is so much better. First Arccos say their sensors are free but charge you shipping in a way you don't realize they are charging you. Then you get the sensors and the pairing process isn't bad, but the app has way less features than 18 birdies that it's not worth the price. To unsubscribe you have to send them an email... They purposely don't have a way in the app to unsubscribe. It feels like they are trying to trick you into a year hip. 🤔

It's amazing once I got it working. For the first three rounds I was having issues with missed shots, but I bought a cheap holster from Amazon to hang it from my belt and put the link in that and it's been 95% accurate since. If you have clothing (a jacket) that covers the lead pocket, there is a chance it will miss shots. It's helped my gain, there has a been a few holes where it's suggested a club up due to wind and I've taken it's advice and it's landed on the green!

1) There needs to be a 9-hole mode. I usually play at a 9-hole muni with multiple tee boxes to play 18. The app constantly jumps from front-nine to back-nine and back again. Super irritating and impossible to fix while moving shots. 2) One course I play occasionally has satellite images where it's completely covered in snow, rendering the app virtually useless. The team said the best they can do is request that Google Maps update the images, which can take years. Considering canceling.

I've used Arccos since 2020, and as many goods the system has, there's a huge number of bads. The new Gen3 Link is ok. Sensors tend to forget their club assignments. The app is a trash fire, if I'm being honest. Used to switch clubs and game out different scenarios with preview caddie. Now, you get whatever the app gives you. NOT as versatile as it used to be. This will most likely be my last season with it. Still def recommend to new golfers, but it's not worth the cost as you get better.
