The levels start out extremely simple, but the experience on each level develops skills needed for the next. They get progressively more difficult and one has a maximum of three lifelines before having to start the level over again. I completed the game on a smartphone but would recommend using a tablet, especially for the later levels. I enjoyed the experience and wish it had been longer, though I can't imagine how complex additional levels might have been. It's worth the price of ission.

I rarely purchase phone games, but I LOVED the original HOOK... But HOOK 2 is not the same. The puzzles are 3D, so you have to maneuver the screen to different angles. I found it difficult to adjust the angles, and the puzzles were too easy. The most challenging part was the controls. If you're considering buying this game, do so without the expectation that it will be like the first one. The game is decent on its own, but really disappointing as someone who expected more of the original.

The 3D design gets in its own way. At first I was impressed with how they were able to keep their concept fresh and different, but the last few levels made me want to throw my phone. Being 3D, you just can't see the details of the puzzles as they are all on top of each other and blend in. So infuriating.

Be it be the original hook or its sequel, these games are relaxing and are just a lovely experience all in. They may not be the most challenging puzzle games out there but I feel that isn't the point. I honestly love that these games teach their mechanics through level design with hook 2 having its main new mechanic introduced in what I find to be such a charming and organic way it just shows the dev has a real ion for level design and their games

It took me 2h to complete the game but there r new puzzles 2 come according 2 the end credits, the puzzles aren't frustratingly difficult to solve, some nice puzzle-solving mechanics, all in all, I'm satisfied with what I got but I did encounter a bug, the 🔊, if I open the game with my Bluetooth headset on there is no 🔊 but fortunately disconnecting and connecting it would solve the issue + I get a warning pop-up window from Google every time I open the game that I can ignore

I really like this game each puzzle is somewhat similar but each has its own twist. The developers keep adding new ways to solve the puzzles so it never gets boring. That being said I am absolutely stuck on puzzle number 83. I can't seem to get the second-to-last bar free.

It has unused potential but is still decent content. There are only a handful of levels that /require/ use of the new 3rd dimension (relative to the first game), the rest are either 2D or could be made 2D with minor changes. The puzzles are easier this time but the few 3d levels add favorably to the experience. I think it is worth the $2 price point but it isn't as good as the first.

Fun, cute puzzle game. Needs some sort of challenge to make me want to play it more. Once there are many toggles (around level 30) puzzles have many solutions; I'd prefer something with only solution to make it more challenging. I'd also note the minimum number of moves for a puzzle to even further challenge players.
